Ingredients
- 1 ea – Honeysuckle Frozen Young Turkey Breast (basted)
- BBQ Rubs
- Killer Hogs – The BBQ Rub
- BBQ Sauce
- 1/8 cup – Blues Hog Raspberry Chipotle BBQ Sauce
- 1/4 cup – Blues Hog Original BBQ Sauce
- 1/3 cup – Maple Syrup
Directions
- Preheat your Recteq pellet smoker to 250°F.
- Remove and separate the turkey ribs and backbone from the turkey breast.
- Season the back side of the turkey breast evenly with Killer Hogs – The BBQ Rub.
- Flip and season the front side of the turkey breast with the same rub.
- Place the turkey breast on the smoker and cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- In a bowl, mix:
- 1/8 cup Blues Hog Raspberry Chipotle BBQ Sauce
- 1/4 cup Blues Hog Original BBQ Sauce
- 1/3 cup Maple Syrup
- Brush the turkey breast generously with the BBQ sauce mixture.
- Return the turkey breast to the smoker and allow the sauce to set for about 10 minutes, or until it becomes tacky.
- Remove from the smoker and let rest for 10–15 minutes.
- Slice and serve.
